Vintage 1960 bouquet of ears of corn brooch in gold

Fantastic original three-colour 18kt gold brooch from the 1960s made up of 9 ears of wheat gathered from a white gold ribbon and diamonds. The jewel is completed by 5 assorted precious stones: diamond, sapphire, rubies, emerald placed gracefully on the stems. This brooch is a classic jewel of the Venetian goldsmith’s work of the 60s, note the three different colors of the 18 kt gold: yellow on the ears, rosé on the stems and white on the ribbon with diamonds that collects them. This jewel required many hours of work for the goldsmith at the stall as the construction was entirely done by hand. In particular, these brooches in that magical period were then imitated in many parts of the world, even if not with the same skill; Due to the originality and quality of the work, the Venetian ones have now become a rarity not only to wear but also to collect. 2024 fashion is bringing this type of accessory back into vogue, lately the combination of a precious brooch and a casual jacket has triumphed, an evergreen unisex object for an alternative but absolutely elegant look to place on the lapels or to button cardigans or jackets; if you want to be daring, you can pin it on hats or belts. Those who are hungry for beauty and originality will surely find it in this type of jewel. Price on request – Sometimes we publish jewels on the site that are only available to order; often photos and details of the jewels you see are published as a historical reference of our 50 years and more of activity for your future orders.
