Chevalier coat of arms rings

VIDEO INSTAGRAMThe images show some examples of heraldic seal-engraved coats of arms on classic Chevalier settings or those of other types. They are made of 18k gold or 925 silver. For a quote, you can email us a photograph or drawing of the coat of arms for reproduction. Monograms can also be engraved.

How much does a Chevalier ring cost?

It depends on the workmanship.

There are two types of engraving, done by hand with a burin:

the standard shallow engraving, as in the image of the white gold ring with the monogram LR – and the seal engraving, where the coat of arms, taken from your photo or drawing, is reproduced horizontally and deeply engraved so that a positive impression can then be made with sealing wax. For example, see the photo of the lapis lazuli ring engraved with a very complex coat of arms (blue stone) or the bear engraved on red carnelian. Production time: at least 35 days. for non-seal models, while for seal models the times are longer. Prices therefore depend on the complexity of the coat of arms design, we will be able to be precise once we receive the image. Please remember that the more complex and full-bodied the coat of arms, the larger the ring will also be (which therefore requires an oval proportionate to the design). In this regard, our laboratory must leave a certain technical freedom. Otherwise, we can try to reduce the coat of arms by omitting certain details such as certain flourishes that are often present in ancient coats of arms in order to create a smaller ring. On which finger should the chevalier ring be worn? In ancient times, in the era of knights, the ring was worn on the little finger of the left hand, with the right hand they held the sword… this made it easier to show off and also to use it to seal correspondence. Nowadays, a signet ring can be worn easily on the right or left hand, even on the ring finger or index finger (although the most classic and chic way is on the pinky). A piece of advice we’d like to offer is that it’s best to wear it alone on the hand free from other rings. For rings with engraved stones, given the types available, prices are based on a quote. Price based on a quote. Photos and product details of the jewelry you see are provided as a historical reference for our 50-plus years of business for your future orders. We do not publish prices due to the ever-changing costs of precious metals and stones.

Dear customer, this jewel may not be available immediately, but it is reproducible and customizable
