Born from the encounter between Venice and the East, these earrings tell a story of routes, conquests, and trade that spanned the Adriatic to the heart of the Peloponnese.
Their shapes recall the ceremonial Moors that populated the Venetian courts, figures born not from skin color but from the cultural influence of the Morea territories, where the Republic wove alliances, trade, and battles. They are jewels of the highest craftsmanship; the turbans and busts are studded with graduated diamonds, the details are gold, the absolutely baroque pearls fall like drops of light, and the heads are carved ebony: each element echoes the wars against the Ottomans, the trade in spices and silk, and the embassies that departed from the Zattere to reach distant ports.
