Chevalier coat of arms rings

Chevalier coat of arms rings

VIDEO INSTAGRAM In the pictures we publish some examples of heraldic coats of arms engraved with seals on classic Chevalier frames or of different workmanship. They are in 18 kt gold or 925 silver. For a quote you can send us a photograph or drawing of the coat of arms to be reproduced by e-mail. Monograms are also engraved.

How much can a Chevalier ring cost?

It depends on the workmanship.
There are 2 types of engraving, however always made by hand with a burin the normal not deep engraving, and the seal engraving where the coat of arms taken from one of your photos or drawings will be reproduced horizontally upside down and deeply engraved so that the positive can then be obtained with sealing wax (see lapis ring photo) Timing of realization at least 30 days. for non-sealed models, while for sealed models the times are longer, at least a month and a half, the prices therefore depend on the complexity of the design of the coat of arms, we will be able to be precise once we receive the image; indicatively, a chevalier all in solid 18 kt yellow gold with a non-seal engraved coat of medium complexity can cost from a minimum of 1,650.00 to 2,900.00 euros, based on the size of the finger and the size of the ring itself. we have also made chevaliers with prices over 3,000.00 euros – For seal engravings, the price starts from a minimum of 1,800.00 euros up to 3,000.00 euros and beyond – remember that the more complex and full-bodied the coat of arms is, the bigger it will also be the ring (which therefore requires an oval proportionate to the design), on this a certain technical freedom must be left to our laboratory, otherwise we can try to reduce the coat of arms by omitting certain details such as certain flourishes that are often present in ancient coats of arms in order to be able to create a smaller ring.
On which finger to wear the chevalier ring? In ancient times, in the age of the knights, the ring was obligatorily worn on the little finger of the left hand, with the right hand they held the sword … this facilitated its display and also its use to seal correspondence. Nowadays the chevalier ring can be worn without any problem on the right or left even on the ring or index finger (although the most classic and chic way is the little finger) one piece of advice we feel like giving is that it is better to wear it alone in the hand free from other rings. – For rings with engraved stones, given the types available, the costs are on estimate.
Price on request – We sometimes publish jewelry available on the site to order only; often photos and details of the jewels you see are published as a historical reference of our 50 years and more of activity for your future orders. We almost always do not publish prices due to the continuous variation in the cost of precious metals and stones; you can ask us if the jewel you have seen is available we will reply in a short time also for a quote.
